Eclipse fucking sucks. Like, really sucks.

I'm not one who usually complains about websites making changes to their design unless it fundamentally breaks it's usability. It's why I'm not up in arms when YouTube changes its design every few years, or when Reddit did theirs, because they're still perfectly usable and I have ways of using the old site. This is not one of those times. Eclipse is fucking hot garbage. I've never had this much fucking difficulty navigating a website as I have now. The layout is so much harder to figure out, everything is fucking huge now so it takes up so much screen space, it's a pain in the ass on mobile especially, and the favoriting system is a fucking joke. You even took away the ability to use the old site, which is irritating as hell. Why not let us have the option of choosing which one we want to use? Now I have to hope that someone makes a GreasyFork script or something so that I can actually use it again. DA, I love ya, and I've been here for a long time, but this is legitimately a stupid

May I ask what you think may've happened if clay won in 1844? here's my best guess, Tippecanoe avoids death 30 days into his term, no Tyler presidency avoids the Whigs reputation being damaged, the Whigs win by 217-58, Texas is never annexed, instead clay implements his American system, clay is re-elected in 1848, a Whig candidate I can't predict would win in 1852, this leaves the Whigs as a true political force by 1856, the anti-slavery faction having split off to form the republicans, the Democrats and Whigs split the vote between them, allowing Fremont to win the north, I honestly doubt this would cause the south to succeed, the situation wasn't nearly as heated in 1856 as in 1860, chances are in 1860 Fremont would be passed up for the less radical Lincoln, and we all know the rest from there, the only notable changes are Texas and California being independent, what do you think?
